Canopy Tour
The word "canopy" as it applies to ziplining is refering to; the uppermost layer in a forest, formed by the crowns of the trees. (*thefreedictionary.com). In other words, a beautiful view of this wonderful area known as the Ozarks, from an angle that usually is only seen by birds and other treetop dwellers.
The word "tour" had several variations but this one seemed to fit best for us; A brief trip to or through a place for the purpose of seeing it. So hopefully, this has helped those who have never been ziplining understand the basic idea of "zip line canopy tours" a little better.
Zipline
The actual zip line cable is usually made of stainless steel. A cable suspended above an incline to which a pulley and harness are attached for a rider.(*merriam-webster.com) The fun part comes in compliments of gravity! With one tower higher than the other, it allows you (the rider) to "zip" down the line while safely secured in your harness allowing you to enjoy the full impact of the belly laughs!
